Who are Deep Tech Pioneers?
Each year, a jury of scientists, investors, and industry experts selects the strongest 800–900 startups from the Hello Tomorrow Challenge. They become Deep Tech Pioneers, part of our network for life.
What counts as deep tech?
We get this one a lot, so here goes. Deep tech is technology built on a scientific discovery or engineering breakthrough that’s a major leap beyond what exists today, not a new business model on existing technology.
To give some examples, recent Grand Winners of the Challenge include NĹ«mi (cell-cultured human milk), tozero (battery recycling), and ATLANT 3D (atomic-scale manufacturing).
Does it cost anything? Do you take equity?
Applying to the Hello Tomorrow Challenge is free. The grand winner receives a €200K investment from our sister fund, Deepbright Ventures, plus access to the Hello Tomorrow network.
The participation in the Hello Tomorrow Summit isn’t free, but as a Pioneer, you never pay full price.
I'm past Series B. Is there still a way to work with Hello Tomorrow?
Yes. The Challenge is for pre-seed to Series B, but later-stage companies can meet investors and corporations at the Summit. Get your pass here ↗
