From Strategy to Scale: Unlocking Europe's Deep Tech Potential

Commissioned by the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, this report was developed to inform the 2025 ASCEND Innovation Conference held under the Danish EU presidency — and to extend its impact beyond it. It brings together insights from founders, investors, and policymakers to identify the key levers Europe can pull to turn the EU Startup and Scaleup Strategy into concrete action.
