Virtuous Innovation
OPPO Research Institute initiates an innovation accelerator, empowering technology professionals and entrepreneurs to bring innovative solutions to life and create a better future together, based on the brand value proposition of “Inspiration Ahead”. OPPO wants to join forces with others who use technology to solve social issues.
The theme of the 2022 OPPO Research Institute Innovation Accelerator is “Virtuous Innovation”. Through the programme, OPPO hopes that virtuous technology and innovation can contribute to people’s daily lives and create a better and smarter life together.
Two subjects
Applicants submit proposals that fit the “Virtuous Innovation” theme while targeting one of two subjects: accessibility technology or digital health.
Accessibility technology
Proposals that increase technological inclusiveness, such as adapting existing technology for elderly users, supporting design for accessibility or improving ease of use for disadvantaged groups.
Digital health
Technology, products and services for healthy lifestyles and intelligent health services, using algorithms, sensors, data analysis and healthcare products to improve exercise, sleep, diet and mental health.
Who can apply?
The accelerator is open to any individual, group, organisation or institution engaged in work related to scientific or technological innovation, or conducting research in areas related to accessibility technology and digital health.
Based in Europe or Israel
Applicants based in Europe and Israel apply through the regional challenge (Phase 1).
Based in another region
Applicants from other regions apply via the OPPO global event page.
